Robert Musslewhite

Robert is a seasoned public company CEO and board member with a distinguished track record of leading and advising high-growth healthcare and technology organizations. He most recently served as CEO of Definitive Healthcare, where he transformed the company’s data and analytics capabilities to deliver unmatched healthcare commercial intelligence. Prior to that, he held multiple CEO roles within Optum, including leading OptumInsight, Optum360, and Optum Analytics—overseeing $13B+ in healthcare services, technology, and analytics.

Earlier in his career, Robert served as Chairman and CEO of The Advisory Board Company, where he led the firm’s expansion into software, data, and education, ultimately guiding its $2.6B sale. His leadership earned the company consistent national recognition as a top place to work and a trusted healthcare and education partner.

In addition to his operational leadership, Robert brings deep governance experience as a board member for Cardinal Health, CoStar Group, and several healthcare companies. He is also an Executive Advisor to New Mountain Capital, helping build transformative companies across healthcare and information services. 

Robert’s appointment brings decades of strategic, data-driven healthcare leadership to the board, along with a passion for culture, mission alignment, and organizational growth. He will serve on both the Audit and Human Resources and Compensation Committees.
